Hi, my name is Alex and I have spent over half my life in Japan. In my time in Japan I have been a foreigner that didn't know the language at all, a student of Japanese at an intensive college, student at a Japanese college of computer programming, and have worked for a Japanese company. Evangelist of the Japanese convenience stores and vending machines.
Everyday Japanese, normal Japanese, isn't textbook Japanese. That's what my time in Japan has taught me.
